    A Proper Introduction

    Hi Guys,

Today I renewed my membership, so after lurking here for about five years (that must be a record), and one year as a paying member, I've decided to celebrate by finally stepping out of the shadows. My name is Rich, I'm a native New Yorker living in Switzerland. I have three P-cars, two long hoods and a 3.2 G-50 cab. My mechanic (and good friend) for the past 12 years is Delph Sarteur of Lausanne. I'd just like to say I visit this site daily, love getting my issues of the Esses, and am proud to be a card carrying member of the Registry. Here are two photos of my early 911s. See my signature for details.

    Cheers,
    Rich

It's nobody's business what cars I own. I will tell you one thing though, they're air cooled and I beat 'em like they owe me money.

thanks Karim, yep, that was my 2.2T. the fuel pump started to give out on me on the highway right before the tunnel. i had two of my kids in the car at the time and managed to barely make it through the tunnel (800 meters!) and to the beginning of the chexbres exit ramp--talk about white knuckle driving... i pushed the car the length of the ramp and luckily someone stopped and towed me down to lebet's garage. he's still trying to get the right pump.

    Hi Rich,

Nice to finally see you here online! I hope we can meet up this winter so I can be re-joined (temporarily!) with those Sport Seats.

    Cheers,
