    Testing the waters on my 1970 911 C-Production vintage race car

    Testing the waters on my 1970 911 C-Production vintage race car built to SCCA 1972 general competition rules (and still very street legal - licensed). I have debated on turning this car into more of an “R-Gruppe” car (minimal modifications in my mind to complete) but I still would like to race and can’t have two early cars. This car has been a labor of love and has gone thru a complete bare metal tub restoration (I did the work) and has all documentation including all receipts. This car has completed three race weekends this year with RMVR (Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing) here in Colorado and has ran excellent (even if the driver needs some help). Do not really want to sell but would like to get a nice weekend driver and build a less “quality” race car that I won’t be pissed if I get a rock chip on it. Looking for $35K or partial trade plus cash on a 1987-1989 Carrera coupe. Please email me at samjepperson@yahoo.com if interested

    Monday morning bump

    Monday morning bump and some additional pictures. Again since much of the interest has been in turning this to more of a street car I can work with the buyer to make potential changes (i.e. adding carpet kit, taking out cage and extinguisher

    Need some input please...

    Based upon everyone's responses/interest I thought I would see what your thoughts are on some changes to the car. All the interest so far has been on making the car into a street car, which could easily be accomplished. My thoughts are this;

    if I change out the rear lexan for glass, change out the 15x7 Fuchs for 15x6 deep dish Fuchs in front and 15x7 Minilites in the rear, remove the fire extinguisher system, remove the cage, install carpet kit, remove race bucket, install heat

    what would the level of interest be? If you have thought please PM me or shoot me an email at samjepperson@yahoo.com

    Thanks,
    Sam
