    Car lift (home use)

    I am looking for a recommendation on a good 4 post car lift. Any suggstions?

    This is mine, I'm happy with it, but if I were to do it again I would also consider the "Backyard buddy". Its hard to give advise if you have only used one brand, however:

    1. The $1,000 I paid to have it installed was the best grand I ever spent. It took three guys from Superlifts four hours to install it. the parts are very heavy, and if you have it shipped, its up to you to get it off the truck.

    2. 220v is much better than 110v, If its practical, then have a electrician run a wire, otherwise you will wish you did every time you use it.

    3. Don't bother with the plastic drip trays, go to Advance auto and get the metal drip trays. The trays are a perfect fit, easier to clean, and cheaper.
