    Hand Throttle Question

Good afternoon. Question regarding the hand throttle on my 70 T. For some reason when I lift it, it functions, but there is a spring in place, or something else, but feels like something is pulling it back down. Any idea on what might be causing this? I thought it might be getting hung up in the ebrake boot but that is not the case.
    Thanks,
    Gary

    Gary-
The return spring of the throttle linkage is pulling it back down. The lever maintains its position by friction. If you pull up the emergency brake boot, you will see a nut at the hand throttle lever pivot. If you tighten this nut a little, it will add friction that will enable the lever to maintain its position.
