    FS: 2 early 5 bar grills

    The first is from a 72 and is only suitable to be used for parts or experimenting on/practicing straightening out bars on a restorable grill. $50 + shipping First two pics.

    the second grill, a 70-71 is a bit of a sad story but could have a happy ending. I bought it 2 years for $150 on eBay, it was painted black and looked great. My hope was a nice bright anodize under the paint as I found on my 69E grill. Instead I found that it had been bead blasted. I did some work on it recently with an abrasive rubber wheel with very promising results. 500 grit and diesel as a lubricant also worked well, my intent was to make a wooden block notched to fit the bars and just go up and down. A few hours and this would be a very nice grill again. Bars are all fairly straight/very nice in both dimensions, all studs are intact. You could also just shoot some Würth Satin Black on it again and it would like new. It was slated for the E as the E went to the S, but I just got a nice 3-bar for the E, so this must go. $100 + shipping
