Ralph is a well known Porsche service shop in the Baltimore area BUT prior
to his Porsche training, he was originally trained as a factory Mercedes mechanic

    Thanks, guys.

Don't know if the owner would take the car there. I'd be happy with someone just looking at it and taking it for a spin.

The things are pretty bullet proof so long as they are all there.

Since no one has chimed in that is local to Annapolis, I thought I would put this forward for you.

This guy is in Annapolis, I don't know exactly where. He posts pretty regularly on the D-90 forum. At least he is a car guy and a contributor on another forum, perhaps you could contact him for a lead or any help.

I do recall a conversation with a D-110 owner while in Annapolis a few years ago while at a football game who had said this guy did the work. Seemed pretty solid to me. The 110 drew my attention enough to strike up a conversation with the owner.

That's Doug Crowther. Seems to be a solid guy, and worth a call I am sure. You will find him on www.d-90.com/forum or contact him thru his website. Ron, a member here from Philly is on there a lot, and probably knows him as well. Ask ron ... evilfij at yahoo dot com

    Thanks to all who responded.

It looks like the car has been sold

I was afraid to pull the trigger from way over here on the West Coast without first being able to to look at it (or have someone look at it).

If the deal falls through and it becomes available again, I will follow up with the posts.

    Cheers.
