    Looking for engine 909515.

    I think it's worth a shot. I'm looking for engine 909515, car built 9/66.

    Alan, I've added that one to my list of engines to watch out for.
    What car is that engine for?

    Engine 909515 came from the factory in 67 911 coupe 305956.

    Thanks. You got this car now I guess. Do you know the original trans # also?
    Any idea where the engine went missing? We'll keep a lookout. What about a close engine #, would it do for now?

    Dear Dave,

    The transmission is 130190 (902/1).

    I don't know when the engine got separated from the car. The car was in primer and has been for a while.

    I'm fine with an engine that's close. I expect that finding the numbers matching engine will be a long search, and I want to be able to drive the car soon.
