    MFI Rebuild - Recommendations Please

I'm curious to know who is best recommended for Bosch MFI pump rebuilds?
    Thank you!

    Vinny,

    This will get you started...

I've used Gus for the last 15 years or so, and he's great ... but there are others.

    Hope this helps,

    Cheers

Chuck, on a side note, when you say " ... over the last 15 years" what is the life expectancy of a rebuild? Depends upon usage, I imagine, but not having MFI myself, I am curious as to how long between rebuilds or how many miles?

    Good question Karl,

I have had my 73 for 20 years and I needed to rebuild my pump about 15 years ago. Gus said it had probably not been rebuilt since new. Unfortunately my newly rebuilt pump had a problem within the first 2 months so we sent it back and Gus who fixed it free of charge. The pump ran perfectly until 2003 when I rebuilt my Engine into a 2.7RS spec. where we sent my perfectly good running pump back to Gus to fit a new RS space cam and recalibrate... which he did with GREAT results……and I trust for a long time to come.

A long way around to say that a pump rebuild and recalibration should last you a very long time.....

    Hope this helps

    Gus @ Pacific.

There are others, but there is NOBODY else.

Trust me, I sent him close to 20 pumps last year with 100% satisfaction.
