    356 engine parts on Ebay

    Not to be critical but how can you list a Bosch 009 as a 356 distributor, tha is the last thing you would want in one unless someone stold your 022 and you had to get home.

    Apparently some 356 racers swear by them. Vic Skirmants (if I recall correct, initiator of the 356 registry) lists them on his website 356enterprises.com as follows: "DISTRIBUTOR, Bosch 009. Gives proper short advance needed for race engines."

    Thanks for the information. I'm not trying to mislead anyone. That description was done through pure ignorance about all matters 356. I thought that the 009 was a typical choice for the 356 engine, but after reading your post, I researched on the the 356 registry and...as it turns out, the 009 can be used, but may not be the best choice...with the possible exception of race engines. I will modify the description accordingly. thanks for your help. if you see any other discrepancies in my other descriptions...let me know.
