    R Gruppe Forum

The forum is down right now. We're looking into the problem. No idea right now. We did have one report from a member who got a virus warning when he clicked on the site last night. -- Curt

    Red face

    Hey Curt,

I remember the Malware software phrase also.
In avaition when an aircraft experiences a catastrophic engine or structural failure and 'crashes", it usually has fatal results. I hope there are no reported injuries or fatalities as a result or our catastrophic software failure ( CSF )
Glad your on the case Doc.

    Curt,
I have no idea what may have happened. I was on the RG site yesterday. I found a nasty virus in my computer this morning. It may be related, or not. I am still working on this.

It attacked my browser and corrupted my computer security settings (actually turning off the security). Nonetheless, everyone should check their protection modes and perform a complete scan before going to a secure site.

Probably the Tire Rack "free shipping" e-mail I got about 50 times last night. PITA. That one got into e-mail accounts and seems to have proliferated everyone I know and a lot of people I never heard of.

    Good luck,

    Tom

I didn't get any Spam in my eMail? Never got any virus warnings. Computer seems to be working fine. I'm using Avast anti-virus. John G reports no problems on his end with email or virus warnings either.

I guess this will be a good way to test our automated backup system ...

I got the "Malware software in use" warning when I tried to go to the site about thirty minutes ago.

Thanks for the reports. We're waiting for some assistance from the server host. Nice timing - right before Monterey

When I tried to access it yesterday, all I got was a blank white screen.
