    Looks Familiar . . .

Also on the PCA site; ref ad# 13475; no VIN.

I saw this car at California Porsche Restoration a few months back --- Feb or Mar, maybe?; was having the trunk area 're-finished.' (I recognize the plate.)

And I thought somebody just bought this car, had posted that they were driving it home, back east some where, a couple three months back.

You are correct, car was purchased in April after trading a 73S that was also a very short-term ownership. I think Frank has a little trouble with buyer's remorse. Either that or he likes to go shopping when he is hungry and just cannot control himself.

I remember the car at CPR and thinking for the money they must be asking for the car at least they could get the windshield wipers the right finish. But Frank seems pretty high on the quality of their autos...at least for three months.

    What would a comparable 70E price be ? Are E's 20% less ? T's 30% less ?

I had my 73E sunroof coupe for sale here for 85K OBO and it is still on the market. It is a 48,000 mile car that is a true concours car with three owners in unrestored condition with complete history. It has sport seats, factory air,XWX`s,and would stand up to this car in all respects.Took first in Carmel and the Parade in points. At this point in time,I think it`s all about condition and originality. The rear deck badge certainly counts, but I would look at the car,as evidenced by the 200K price on the 700 mile "T" at True Speed Motors,as a case in point. You be the judge on pricing. Tom

Thanks for the compliment! Here`s another "S" from a definitive source on price and condition. It tends to support the value on the car listed here.I am not oblivious to current market conditions, but the very good cars are less susceptible to market declines. http://www.paulrussell.com/classic-c...0086/index.php
