    Jim,
Beautiful car, but are you sure that car is aubergine? That color looks a lot like burgundy to me.

I have a '73 Aubergine S that has considerably more miles and wear on it but these pictures make me want to go out and get it restored today. What an outstanding example.

It makes me want to go outside and throw rocks at my car.

In the august 2009 issue of Excellence, the current owner states that; "she (the stepdaughter of the original owner) informed me that they would sell the car to me - because they believed I was sincere about showing the car extensively in the name of their stepfather and the family".....
I don't know the current owner, nor his motivation to sell the car now, but to me it just doesn't seem to be in line with the previous statement. Or am I missing something???

    Lightbulb

The one thing I've learned moderating this board is there's almost ALWAYS another side to a story. As I said, knowing Kent, 'I'm still amazed he'd let this car go' ... but I'd be more amazed if there wasn't another part to this story...

    ..... we'll see

Chuck, I know what you mean, so I am not judging Mr. Moore, just expressing my amazement....
