    911 spares supplier in europe

I live in Switzerland and have just bought a '68 911. I need an interior door handle and two horn grills. Does anyone know a good parts supplier in Switzerland or Europe generally?

    Cheers, Mike

    Mike,

Take a look over on DDK which is UK based, lots of European info and members there. This is a good place to start: http://www.ddk-online.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6601

    Mike,

You might try Edmond Harris in England. I saw your beautiful 68T/R on another thread and I believe they may have sold your car a one time.http://www.edmondharris.com/

If you are looking for new SWB chrome horn grills and you want brass instead of the current plastic one's your only hope is NOS. Door handles are easier to come by. Since you are in Switzerland you can try your luck w/ Elevenparts or may be Christian Tanner.

PM me and I know a good and reliable swiss Porsche shop (near Aarau/Zurich) where such NOS parts is never a problem.
If you are more in the area of Basel, there is another shop, if you are close to Geneva, a third.
Elevenparts is a good dealer but does no service, Tanner is for more for 356's.

For 911 things like this better go to a Porsche shop which is in business since 1971, has all the spares (rare NOS or less complicated things to find like a 68 door handle) and is able serviceing your early 911 too.
I know because my car is there in good hands too, as other swiss Registry members are.

Thanks Stan. Russell did sell my car some time ago and I have spoken to him about it a few times, he is a great guy and very helpful, he was kind enough to send me a few photos of my car that he had lying around.
