    Help with Steering Wheel Recover

Hi all, I have a 380mm 914/6 wheel that I want to have recovered for Lilly (my 1970 911t). I want it as close to an RS wheel as possible. I have had Dallas Steering Wheel recover wheels in the past and have always been happy. My concern though is that if I have them recover this one it wont be correct in the spoke area. I have talked to him and he has said it will look like the pictures that Im attaching. This is the only way he can do it. I think it looks good but I dont want to have it done and it not be correct. Please give me your thoughts on this and other options. Thanks!!! Mark

The stitching changes to baseball style instead of cross at the spokes. Check out post #14 in this of an original wheel.

send it to Tony at Autobahn. DON'T send it to AGLA unless you never want to see it again.

Well, I sent the wheel to Don at Dallas Steering Wheel and he emailed this morning that he received it yesterday and it is already done. He said that it is exactly 3.56 in circ. That is as close as he could get to 3.625 like the RS. Here are the pictures he emailed me. I think it looks pretty good. The spokes look slightly puffy but I will need to get Cornpanzers approval after it gets here. I have another 380mm wheel that I can have someone else recover if I end up not liking this one. Thanks for everyones help! Mark
