Thread: Who has the best cage?

    Who has the best cage?

The choices of available sill mounted cages here at Wiechers is very impressive and their prices are terrific but they are in Europe so the shipping costs would most likely make buying from them not a great idea.

In your opinion, who is the best choice for a sill mounted cage over here in the states? (weld-in)

There is a guy named Kevin Rousch out in calif that make a copy of the C2 cup car cage. He sells you only the bent pieces and you have to make you own straight pieces and weldl it in. You lso have to do your own door pieces and you all the final cutting and fish-mouthing. I think i paid about $925 for the kit.

You happen to live in the "area" of a very well respected custom builder......His name is unusual...like hawaiian...K'Lani or the ilk.

Ive seen his work in PCA and BMWCCA race cars......ask me if you need more info.,..

Contact Dave at TRE Motorsports in Van Nuys, California -- 818-909-9220.

He built and installed a roll bar in my 911E. Did a great job. Total perfectionist. It's a bolt-in but they make bars and cages to be welded in as well.

I think he did Jack Olsen's cage as well (?)
