    73rs

I think they are different cars. The sloan car has red lettering and different VIN as advertised on Rennlist.

Apparently the car belonged to a Dutch dentist who lived in the south of Holland in a city called Maastricht. He had the car insured from 1998 - 1999.

    Rs 0893

Same car was on eBay a while ago, asking price $215K. Odometer is not original so hard to say the low mileage is genuine.

    Lightweight 'kit'

    This ebay ad claims
"Porsche also offered a factory lightweight kit through its dealer network."

Is this true, as I don't recall ever seeing this information about a dealer installed 'factory lightweight kit' anywhere else. I would expect a mention in Konradsheim book if these kits existed?

There do seem to be a few Touring RS's running around with lightweight parts.

    Thanks,
    Ron

From the auction, the car looks a bit tired to me. That is why it is $175K.

Could be a nice car, but should be carefully looked into

the price is not $175,000,that's the starting bid which doesn't meet the reserve;my understanding is that they want closer to $225,000
