    SPEED channel heads-up

Came across the following earlier today:

SPEED Formula One analyst and former F1 team mechanic Steve Matchett, whose career in the garage began at Greypaul, a Ferrari dealership in the United Kingdom, was given unprecedented access to Ferrari racing headquarters in Maranello, Italy, where he had sit-down interviews with F1 team principal Stefano Domenicali and Ferrari drivers Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa. The result is a 30-minute program entitled Ferrari: A Look Inside, that will be positioned around F1 race airings on SPEED, beginning Aug. 22 at midnight ET, prior to a second airing of practice from the European Grand Prix.

“The access SPEED received from Ferrari and has received from other constructors speaks to the quality of our broadcast team … it shows they have not only the respect of the fans, but the respect of the paddock as well,” said Rick Miner, SPEED SVP of Production & Network Operations. “We hope to continue to provide this type of Formula One feature-oriented programming in the future.”

Thanks, John! I found it scheduled also on 8/23 at 1:00 PM Pacific time, in case anyone misses the first airing and wants to see it.

    Thumbs up

Thanks for the heads up John...

    Also,

While at the track at the Historics the announcer mentioned that Speed will broadcast the whole event in Oct.
I'm not quite sure but I think he said the 16th

    Stay tuned......

    Cheers
