    That is a rather rare Sporto engine.

    Yes, Sporto.
    I have a correct 2.4E with MFI & 915 manual in the car now but out of interest would welcome knowing where the original engine is. It's been suggested that its likely to reside in Australia & in the state of Victoria.
    The engine number is now listed here on the early 911s register and also on the TYP 901 register, one day I might get a call out of the blue Cheers, Luke
