Grand Tourisme - Vol III (PROTOTYPE - Porsche Racing History in Photographs Part III)

I enquired from Robert Weber, of www.petrolpics.de about Volume III as I was wondering when it would appear. He said that he still had reserved the numbered editions of volume III that we had ordered for Volumes I and II.

If you want volume III, you should contact Robert at his email address given below.

The price of the volume is 125 Euro plus shipping.

He offered to discount the shipping for early S reg members, and the price shipped and insured would be 125 euro plus 25 euro shipping = 150 euro.

He also said that if you ordered 2 copies, that the total price would be 250 euro shipped to the one address.
So, if we buddy up, and order two copies, the cost is reduced, but you have to deliver the 2nd copy yourself in the US, as both books will be shipped to only one address, for this price.
Payment can be sent via paypal as usual to info@petrolpics.de
If you have questions, contact Robert directly at weber@petrolpics.de, or info@petrolpics.de (sometimes the weber address bounced as they has ISP issue recently)

I have no dog on the fight, and do not benefit from this. I simply have volumes I and II, and want to complete the set. If there is someone in NYC that wants to split the shipping, let me know, and we can do the 250 euro shipped offer, and split the costs once it has arrived as well as arrange for delivery of the 2nd book.

    Thanks,

    Karl.

"PROTOTYPE - Porsche Racing History in Photographs Part III 1964 - 1974
    Release: April 2009

Ca. 260 pages, more than 330 b/w-pictures, 270 x 270 mm, German/English, price: 125,- Euro Authors: Michael Thier and Robert Weber

One could call it the art of engineering in competition if we talk about Porsche prototypes from a today’s point of view. Within only a few years the over 1000 HP strong 5.4 litre twin turbo engine of the Can Am 917 was developed, starting with a 2 litre 4 cylinder engine in the 904 GTS only a few years before. Porsches Prototypes always fascinated not only drivers and team leaders but also spectators and fans with their unique design and their superior technical development. Again mostly unpublished photographs will take you on a journey to the glorious 60s and 70s, the books are limited to 911 examples and numbered each."

Anybody purchasing this, to complete the set, and willing to save on shipping, by ordering 2 shipped to one address?
If someone in NY area was purchasing one, let me know, as I would like to get my numbers matching book, to complete the set, and getting it for 125euro shipped is the best way to keep the cost down.

    Thanks,

    Karl.

I am looking to buy the 3rd book. Anyone what to share shipping costs, and exchange at Hershey? I will buy mine regardless and just asked Robert if he still has my #363 available for the 3rd book, to match Vol's I and II.
