    1973 Tool Kit Question

Is the following tool kit complete and correct for a '73S with a 6/73 build date?

    73 toolkit

Looks correct to me. I owned 911 330 01278 for many years (my first 911 and therefore I remember it well) - very close in production to your car.
It was a 1973 911S, also aubergine, black int. UK delivered RHD, sunroof coupe, electric windows, sports seats, sportomatic transmission. The toolkit was identical except for the screw driver. Instead of the reversible blade, it has 2 separate screwdrivers - one slotted blade, one philips head.
That said - I understand that slight variations in toolkits occurred through production depending on the contents of the parts bin on the day.
Just spent most of the day at EASY with Jim Breazeale, John and Richard - buying parts, talking Porsche and enjoying the good company! Jim showed me photos he took of a "time-warp" 356B with an original unused toolkit - and the screwdrivers which were clearly "factory original" were different to any "correct B toolkit" - the philips driver was a red handled version - normally considered correct for an A, and the other drivers had black painted shafts.
Back on the 911 trail - a friend has a late production 1973 911 Carrera RS with an RS badge (instead of the stick on decal on the engine lid) and RSR rear trailing arms - German efficiency using up the left-over parts!
Wow - that was a long-winded confirmation!!!! Good luck!
