    Hockey Puck horn button question

I have a friend is who is selling me his horn button, but, for some reason he can't get it off the wheel?

I have never removed one myself, I would have assumed that you could just pry it off with your fingers? Perhaps this one is oxidized on there?

Is the something special to getting this off? Does it require removal of the leather horn pad first?

    Thanks,
    Peter

    What the puck

Hi Peter: press it in and while holding it down, turn counter-clockwise and it will release.

Thanks all, I'm the noob that Peter is helping out.

I have a 68 911L that is rusted so bad that the chassis is non repairable. It's so bad that there literally isn't anything left of one of the Longs but gaping holes of rust. It's had a hard hard 100K mile life. SN 11805192.

I'm planning on parting it out and Peter has been invaluable at letting me know what to look for.
    Here's what I know:
It's truly a 68 L but not with the elephant dash, instrad dash and doors have a basket weave look pattern. no map pockets.
    Standard seats,
    2.0L rotates fine by hand
    Webers with stuck throttle shafts.

It has 3" bolt spacing front steel calipers (Are those M?)
It has the vented rear rotors, But I haven't taken the rear wheels off yet to confirm the 2.25" spacing calipers.

What other SWB 68 L specific only things should I be looking for?
Funnily enough the carpet was removed and boxed, and is in really good shape. Grey with yellowish orange stitching. Original? or not?

    Thanks,
    Richard
