    Becker Europa II AM/FM Stereo

Great shape for its age but can use a careful cue-tip cleaning and the channel indicator repainted orange, or just send it to Becker to be rebuilt and an iPod connector wired in.

not sure Mark but I think it would depend on how much restoration they have to do. if you are handy with a nail polish brush and some fluorescent orange paint, it's restored.

I bet you could even wire it your self with a bit of care and web searches, but yeah, it would be nice to send it to Becker and have them do the whole thing. It did work when I pulled it out BTW and has just been sitting on the shelf for a few years. I need that 3.0!

Rebuilds on the tuners - don't know. You can get an adaptor for the "non-amplifier" units that plug right into the back of the head unit (see black plug in photos above) for about $40. If you have the external amplifier, then you have to get a direct feed from the inside of the head unit if you want it in stereo. I have the ext amp, so my iPod adaptor was about $75, and it is truly CD quality to speakers - it does not play through the tuner. My whole rebuild on my Mexico Cassette with iPod connection was about $200 and change. I opted not to let them put a plug in the faceplate, rather a wire out of the rear.
