70-73 911 "driver condition"/ or project wanted - So. Cal.

Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster.

After owning many "big bumper" 911s over the year, I have decided to finally get the early car I have always wanted.

Most of my prior 911s were super stock, low mileage, original and in concours condition. I do NOT want my early car to be that! I've found that the 911 that I enjoy most is the one that I can drive with no fear, park in a parking lot without door ding paranoia, etc.

So, I'm looking for a solid driver. I would like it to be as "stock" in appearance as possible, although some mechanical upgrades are ok (don't particularly care if it has a later engine, non-matching numbers engine, etc.).

As always, the lack of rust is most important. If it needs paint, interior, etc., that's ok. It should be something that is fairly presentable, and driveable.

I am in So. Cal., would prefer something local. Have cash, and I am a "quick" buyer, I don't really like to mess around, waste your time, etc.

    Let me know, thanks!
