    Price advice for 69S parts

This is a request for pricing help. The parts will be for sale and posted here first.

Here's the story: The owner of a 69S 119301033 gets in a nasty divorce and the car has to go to his wife to sell. He decides to keep as much as he can. Two years ago I try to find the car for him and after tracing it a few years the trail went dead. He agreed to sell me his pristine tool kit, but only if I took everything he has.

I have the spare, never on the road 7/69 date deep Fuchs with heart, original Michelin X. Original leather wrapped steering wheel. He took this off a few months after buying the car to put on a Prototypo. Original floor carpet pieces, front and rear, no siginificant wear. Perlon carpet for the floor of the trunk with wooden stiffener.

Everything is as he took it off the car. It's all in new or nearly new shape. This stuff should go to someone who only wants original parts on a fantastic car. There was some other stuff but it was pretty standard and I can figure out a price for the rest I think.

What is a fair price for the spare, steering wheel, floor carpet, and trunk carpet?

    Thanks,
    Alan

OK, sold to Neil for $100. I know that no one on this board would take advantage of me. Oh, hang on. I said I needed advice and maybe there's someone else out there who can help me. Guess I'd better wait...

I'd be interested in the spare with tire, and the trunk carpet, at least, maybe the steering wheel too...depends on price to some extent.

    Hi Alan
When I first read your post I went for my wallet to read my vin as your descrip sounded like you were describing my car- it is also missing it's original wheels and carpets. I have a 69S vin 119300671 match numbrs silver/black sunroof car- it is an original So-Cal car (Competition motors, black plate) been here it's whole life. Even though I might not be able to afford your asking price (whatever you decide on) I would still like to know- they would probably be the closest number match I could hope for finding for my car. Also interested in the carpet- that would be great as I have orig carpet but the floor carpet pieces were missing in mine as well.
    Thanks

Alan, when you decide price, I would be interested in the spare.

    Well, I'd posit:

    spare: $700
    steering wheel $400
    tool kit $1000
