    MOMO Prototipo, which year?

I have a "well used" MOMO Prototipo wheel in my 67 912 project, and I wonder how old this wheel is?

It measures ca 360mm in diameter.

Do these "old" wheels have some value when in this condition?

    Any thoughts are welcome
    Thanks, Kjell T - Norway

Yes Kjell, still valuable, desirable.. DON'T SELL THE WHEEL HUB! Those are tough to come by!

Your wheel is what I'd call 2nd gen Prototipo. The foam looks to be in good shape. I'd just have a new leather cover put on and run her as it is.

The age of the wheel is from around 1970.

+1 on both of 70SATMan's comments, hold on to that hub and re-cover the wheel.

Thanks for your advice! Interesting information!

The code on back side is "Made in Italy" and "M 20340".

Certainly will hold on to the hub, but for me I could actually use a simoular newer Momo wheel which is in usable condition. But the more modern wheels are a bit smaller? I prefer wheels which are not to small.

Also looking for a 15" dished Moto Lita wood wheel to cover with leather (love the thin rim and finger grip)

Could be in for a trade or sell the wheel, depend on what it is worth.
