it's gone, but here's the screen cap. It opens to the edit page of the ad.

How were you able to get the link to edit the original posters ad like that?

I saw it on Pelican, opened the link and copied it and pasted it to this site. Looked very hokey. $13,500 for a restored 67 911S Targa with wierd looking fuzzy pictures like a glass top, fan shroud mounted coil, etc.

oh well, thought you'd found the secret to hacking craigslist...

maybe it's just a non restored bad shape regular 911 with a misleading ad?

instead of taking a photo of the screen, try Gadwin Printscreen, a free program I have had for years(2.6 version), you only need to hit F1 at anytime to scan/capture whats on your screen, even protected images and content. it then sends the capture to your picture file. easy and neat.

I have used this in the days when Ebay was easily hacked and users were re-directed to a phony sign-in page. the page was unstable and would jump and disappear before you could read the item number to report it. I would wait with finger on F1 to capture the fast moving hacked page that sent you to a sign in page. I would then report the item number and Ebay was able to shut it down pronto.
I have to believe that I helped take down many of these scams as Porsches and Porsche items were a favourite target for scammers...not sure why...

    I think it's a real ad, but it's $35k now.
I'm in Charlotte today, and be was willing to meet with me, but my schedule just went to hell. Supposedly it's an unstamped case, and I can't tell from the pics whether the alloys are correct and I'm waiting to here back.

So, is it overpriced for a non matching engine, no deco, incorrect alloy car?
Note that it's a real S, I got the serial number.

Does it look like it has newer front fenders and front latch plate ? Appears to have flares and the latch panel has the washer bottle filler hole.
