    Marchal Relay Question

    Hi Peter,

The Marchal 413 relay is useful when installing extra high amperage/current electrical items such as driving lamps, foglamps, etc. The relay allows control of the high current circuit with a low current circuit back to the on/off dashboard switch. Saves your dashboard switches from burning up.

The Marchal 413 was an excellent heavy-duty relay for the 60s and into the 70s. I've seen them used in FIA historic rally & race cars. If you mean, is there a Porsche-specific application for this particular relay, I think the answer is "no", although they were used in various race cars through the years.

    Hope that helps!

    Best Regards,
    Andy
