    Parts from 69S for sale

These parts all come from 69S 119301033. The owner took them off the car in the early 70s and kept them. I bought them because I wanted his pristine tool kit and he would only sell the whole package.

Thanks to everyone who contacted me with suggestions on pricing this stuff. These prices are high, but lower than the top prices members suggested. I know suggesting is different from paying, so offers are fine. All parts are sold OBO plus shipping.

It takes me a while to get things shipped I don't have boxes for everything and then it's hard to get the UPS or the post office. If you need this stuff right away, I'll probably disappoint you. That's the only way you might be disappointed. I'm happy to take more pictures or email hi res pictures.

It would be great if all these parts stayed together. If you’d like them all, let’s talk.

Floor carpet front and rear $275

The pictures were taken in the late afternoon and the light gave everything a brownish tint. The pieces are all the expected gray except for a slight brownish discoloration at the very front of the front passenger carpet under the dash. The light also made them look lumpier than they are. I think the back picture shows that. There is a groove in one piece. That is an indentation in the pile, not damage to the carpet. There is minimal wear, no rips or rubbed areas.

Deep Fuchs with heart, date 7/69, spare with never used Michelin X. $850

The wheel has never been on a car. The back rim has scrapes and there are a few other scrapes on the back. I took a picture of the worst area. These are all very superficial. The front is nearly perfect. A few tiny flecks of paint missing. The petals and rim are pretty much perfect.
Any one who wants proof that these wheels were dipped in the paint has got it with this picture of the paint drips.

    Trunk floor carpet. $75

The creases are soft and this should lie flat easily. The wood stiffener picture looks like water damage but the finish is fine. There are no tears or rubbed areas. Leather tabs are perfect. At one edge at the back of the trunk there is an area 1-2cm long that is frayed you can see it in the picture at the top right just below the corner. The whitish spots at the lower right are lint that brushed right off.

    Steering wheel $500

This is the one thing that I priced higher than I thought I should. This wheel is as close to perfect as I can imagine. The owner told me that he took it off to install a Prototipo and packed it away. I think he had the Prototipo waiting when he brought the car home from the dealer. The wheel is that nice. This is something I’d be happy to keep, just to enjoy it for a while.

I might be interested in everything, but not sure I can justify the expense of the steering wheel.

for everyone's benefit, where are you located?

the parts are going on my '69 S, VIN 119301075, just 42 cars after yours.

for now, I will wait and see what happens.
