    Original '68 door panels??

    Anyway these '68 door panels might be original? Thinkin not but...

    Nope....

    Here's the other correct panel type, which is for the 68L (all countries) and ROW 68S (no 68S to US unless individually imported), heavily grained, or as some like to call it "elephant" vinyl.

    Note that the basketweave "insert" door panel (meaning basketweave with smooth vinyl) was correct for: 912 (all countries) , 911 (all countries), and ROW 911T.

    ROW stands for Rest Of World, meaning Germany, UK, Japan, etc. etc. (in this case).

    Is that clear enough for you Curt??

    Yes, that's a "no" on those panels... not correct, sorry. Note that Tony at Autobahn has made a very nice repro of the basketweave panel.

    The elephant door panels ( not buffalo), are correct only for 1-9-6-8- 911s' . 911S's & 911T's were European delivery only. 912's were not Elephant but basket weave & vinyl. There are certain individuals that "visit" here who assume values here are "always" gospel. Many times posters are correct, however so boo-boo's can occur.
