    Interesting I do not see anyone carrying a beer or schnapps bottle


    Also interesting with fogs and H1's a non us car so why is the ride height so high? where is that euro ride height ?

    The picture of the motor getting HE's installed has one 911 and one 914/6 HE. Am I wrong?

    Funny, but he might just be posing for the pic.

    Hallo Derwhite.

    I see on your 911 912 borchure website that you ask the meaning of the italian phrase: "Poggiatesta in finto cuoio con ganci per fissaggio, destro".

    It means " Leatherette headrest, with hooks to fix it, right side". It's the 356's headrest that you have to fix back to the seat. It is present until my 1967. Whit the my68 the headrest is inside the holes of the seat.

    Those are great pictures. I wonder how long it took to build a 911 back in 1971. My car has a born date of 3/71, so I suspect that it would have not been on the assembly line in Feb. Unless... my car was finished in early March and these pictures were taken in late Feb. Wouldn't that be cool to have pictures of your car on the assembly line?
