    Production sticker

My 73 RS does not have the silver production sticker which is typically located in the driver side door frame pillar. Is this because it was an Italian market car?, or was it just removed.?

The compliance decal on the drivers door frame was a North American requirement. The Japanese had a different version I believe. The VIN on the windshield frame was another North American requirement. These were not found on most ROW cars.

My French delivered 911 is the same, no production sticker on the driver side door frame or VIN tag on the driver side A pillar.
