    H1/H4 Mounting Screws??

I need the two special machine screws (oval head SS) that mount the H1 or H4 headlight assemblies to the headlight bucket. You know, the ones that go through the trim ring... Where can one obtain these? Thanks.

You're faily close to Stoddard. Why not ask if they will drop a couple in an envelope and mail them for .43? (+ the screws, of course)

I have a pretty good idea that if one were to send a SESE to a parts supplier along with the funds, that they would oblige. This business of Pelican and Performance sending a dime sized dollar part by FedEx is stupid.

I bought the Porsche screws from the dealer but I dont think they are correct. They are SS with strange head and a plastic piece. Im thinking they may be correct for a later car? My lights are H1's but is this correct or is a normal SS phillips correct for a 1970? Thanks, Mark

I believe the screw is supposed to have a plastic spacer. Can someone confirm--I do not have the correct screws on my car to check...

The correct part number is 911-631-146-01. They're $2.53 at Stoddard.

The strange screws with the plastic piece are for use with the painted covers that snap over the chrome rims, as on Euro cars with black trim from 74 on. The strange head on these screws is internally threaded to accept the screw that secures the snap on cover. Just switch them out per the part no. posted above.

Thanks guys. I called Stoddard (duh) and got them there. We were going from just a general description and did not have a p/n and the one he was researching had been superceded a couple of times. Never did get the p/n from him, so I hope it is the right one. Should know today when the mail arrives.

Shipped the wrong part. 900-270-063-07. How did I just know this would happen.

OK, just spoke to Stoddard and the correct P/N that Mike posted has been superceded by these new BLACK! screws. So, I guess I will post a WTB in the For Sale section or call Easy.
