FS: ZF LSD for late 901/911/914 transaxles

Well, after much thought and deliberation, I'm putting my zf lsd unit up for sale rather than have it collect dust on a shelf forever.

This is a factory ZF LSD unit and came from a 911/01 transaxle (1970-71) - should fit later magnesium 901, 914 and 911 transaxles.

Includes lsd unit, correct longer stub axles, longer ring gear bolts - ring gear is not included and will be removed prior to shipping.

I have not run this unit, but it came from a running transaxle. I'm guessing it could use a refurbish before you put in the effort to drop it into a transaxle.

Looking for $950 shipped to USA - including lsd, axles and bolts.

    Regards,
    Andrew M

    Lsd

Any identifying numbers on the stub axles? I have a bellieved to be 70/71 S transaxle and would like to know if it has a LSD unit inside.......Perhaps the transaxle number it`s self would tell, too? Cliff

Carrerax - You are #3 in line right now, but yes if #1 and #2 pass, I'd take the terms as you set out.

tomkirkcis - Hi Tom - you are #4 right now - I'll keep you posted.

cliffandropoff - Hi Clff , the easiest way to check would be to lift the rear of the car and in neutral, rotate on wheel - if the other side turns in the same direction, it has LSD - if it turns in the opposite direction, it's open.
I can get some pics and masurements of the different of the stub axles as well for you

    Regards,
    Andrew M

Andrew, I'll bet Grady Clay would love you to measure the drive flange at each step from the CV face to the top of the splines. Basically document the H out of it. There seems to be very many variations that are poorly documented, especially the correct LSD flanges.
