    WTB 1976 911 Turbo Carrera

I'd love to buy a completely original low miles 76 Turbo Carrera if anyone knows of one for sale.
    Thanks,

    here's one...

'76 52k miles, Bronze metallic, full leather (dk brown as I recall), all original car, never dorked with, original paint, original interior, has the rare, upper side stripes that say "turbo" on the rear qtr panels, that are still in great shape.

I looked at this car back in August - It had been sitting for awhile at that point. The owner is a recent divorcee. The phone # is 310.457.8869. The phone number belongs to her buddy, (whose name I can't recall - he seemed like a nice enough guy) who was helping her sell it. Car is located in Malibu. As far as I could tell, it has lived in this private parking garage under a cover. It has been pretty well looked after and would be a nice early car for somebody. Just don't forget it's been sitting...

If you're interested, call the number. If you connect and the car's still there, email me and I'll tell you what I remember about it...These are the only two photos I think I kept - The light was pretty crappy in there.
Last number I saw was $49.5k, which is over market IMO (about dbl what I thought it was worth, given that it needs to be brought out of hibernation...but hey, what do I know?)

    Hope this helps.
    Cheers

Wow, nice looking original car Thom. Very cool to see that side decal. Not sure I have ever seen that before except on photos from original promotional material.

    Phil,

I just saw an ad for another one, black on black with 46K original miles according to the ad. I'll shoot you an PM about it. Congrats on the sale of your Targa.

Shouldn't USA cars have big rear bumper blocks and have "Turbo Carrera" on the decklid?

    This is a Euro Car...

It has a EPA/DOT Cert sticker on the Driver's side door jamb.
I have no idea how long it's been stateside...But, given that it has a Blue Cal tag on it, I'd say quite awhile

This one has been listed on S.F. Craigslist for a least a couple of years. I've also seen it listed on the Samba. The guy has never posted a photo.
