Porsche Spain Culb Day at Jarama Circuit, Madrid

    Hello!!

I would like to share some pics from the annual Porsche Days which Porsche Ibérica (Porsche Spain) organised. It was a fantastic event with some race, slalom, exhibition but one thing was above all. A just finished Carrera 6 restoration (Property of the President of Porsche Spain Club). It is one of nice examples of the world and looks and run fantastic. Sound was amazing, i had the opportunity to follow him in the last event, the Porsche Parade and it is an amazing car, so tiny and light, exudes that purposeful built from the Old Glory Days.

    First, the event:
Second, me and that wonderful machine: and enjoy the link: http://www.diariomotor.com/2009/10/3...panha-xvii-17/

    Hope you find it interesting.

John is not a highway, is the Jarama circuit straight, runs beside an important highway. The circuit was there from the early sixties but the city has grown..a little bit from then actually, the circuit will be demolished and a wonderful Mall and business center will be in its place

I would like to share some pics of the old glory days of this legendary track... I always remember the words from a Great Champion, the american Wayne Rainey, twice 500cc World Champion (sorry for the translation): "Jarama is a circuit which split men from childs... with its technical corners, deeps and crests, and bumpy sections, you have to be a killer to go quick here"
