    67L with S engine $4999

Did anyone else see this one on Samba..

    http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifie....php?id=866162

It looks rough but the price is right, and no it is not my car, just thought I would pass it on to someone who can go get it, it is too far for me.

    Thanks-
    Adam

    I don't think there was a 1967 911L - maybe it's a back-date.

Sitting in a field with the right front pushed back 4"?

Yes, 'rough' would be one word for it.

OTOH, maybe we're just spoiled out here on the Left Coast.

It is a rare (must be a good deal ) ROW 911L. Why would anyone who could buy an S in 1968 buy an L? The engine is an earlier 1967S.

The real question is what did he pay for it. It looks like he is in the UK and flipping it from Cali, if he is selling it at $4999 which I would assume is for a profit, how cheap did he get it for?

    flipping lesson

    Adam,
There is a lesson here, why bother bringing cars home. Just use the sellers pictures and flip it from their back yard after you buy it on the cheap....saves on those transport fees.
