    Looking for California supplier of Gulf Orange and Gulf Blue!

    Since everything has gone water based, we need help getting a supplier for the gulf blue and gulf orange toners

    Who can you recommend , preferably in the so cal area?

    There's a lot of misunderstanding among painters about the need for water-based. But it's an old wives tale.

    According to my friend in the paint business, you can use some solvent based paints -- the ones that meet lower VOC requirement within So Cal.

    Your standard suppliers should have the low-VOC paints. Transtar has them, for sure. My friend says metallics and pearlescents are a little tougher, but solids are no problem.

    Check out PPG CONCEPT CLV, this is their solid single stage urethane line... That's what's on my Chevy.
