    Correct tire size

    I need the correct tires size for a '73 911S I am working on. The wheels are correct 6" Fuchs. This car is getting put together factory correct. Thanks.

    Correct tire size

    That car would have had 185 x 70's

    The correct Michelins were $450.each!! Just bought 4 new Vred's Classics@ $120.each.

    I think you can get these somewhere in between the two prices and they were OE.

    Sigh. . . when is somebody going to start molding Firestone "Phoenix" tires?

    These were made by Phoenix Gummiwerke which is now part of Continental. (now schaeffler group)

    I finally decided compromise is the only alternative and went with these:


    2 215/60R-15 Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position $61.00/ea $122.00

    2 195/65R-15 Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position $79.00/ea $158.00
