I have been caught AGAIN.......Just quickly

I have been caught by this one before and yet again I fell for it. I received a bump on my bonnet so I have to respray the bonnet...but it is a silver car so I have to blend in the paint to the two fenders, bumper and wiper panel.....that is 5 panels on a car that has 12 in total. Why dont I respray the whole car it is 40 years old. Then I can remove the rust around roll bar.....then......then then then o yes the rubbers are old and the roof in leaking then I can redo all the vinyl then.... then then O MY SOUL IT CAUGHT ME AGAIN
The damage to bonnet is what happens if you park your car behind a BMW X5 that cant see the little car behind it when it reverses. That was the tow bar.

Wow, all that just from a little bump on the hood (ooops, bonnet) Nice work though, looks like just in time for that rust under the roll bar.

    This is taking long....
Well the rusted areas under roll bar are fixed and just need some finishing. I went to a very good body shop and asked for a lesson in working with lead. So I made new panels welded them in and then finished it with lead.

I need some advise as well I want to replace my front fenders because according to me the 68 cars did not have a lip around wheel arch and was just straight. I have both sets and they fit. What is correct fender.

Those look like 69 or later front fenders. I think the lip shold be about the same as the rear. Earlier cars were flater. The front fenders on a 68 are another one of those one year only things on a 68. The front signals (one piece) and horn grills (wider) are different then what you have if those are LWB fenders, as are (at least on US spec cars) the light buckets, different from earlier cars I believe. But looking at the first photo they horn grills and signals look like they are correct for a SWB. So I am not sure WHAT you have.

Oh what a slippery slope you encountered.

    ABOUT THE FLOOR
It had alot of surface rust but no penetrated rust that messed floor pan up. What I did is I took a hammer and chissel and removed all the old rubberizing froom the floor. Then I took a drill with a wire brush thing on the front to clean out the corners and also an orbital sander for flat areas. I cleaned up every piece of rust of the car as far as possible. After vacuming the car I used a rust inhibitor named deoxidine. This stuff works great if you apply it for 20 minutes make sure it stays wet. Thenwash it of with water. DRY OF THE WATER before it car rust DONT LEAVE WATER!!!!

    THE ROLL BAR
The rust was right through the roll bar at some places so I made a new plate and supported the bar along the lenght on both sides. I then made new panels for for right behind door and where rear window seals fits. They were welded in and then I used the lead to get a good finnish
