    73S Viper Green on e-bay

I noticed this car and must admit it caught my fancy. Anybody care to comment. I would have to sell both my early 911's to buy it. But that might not be a bad thing, I have always loved the fun colors.

Nice. Even the rear parcel trim is fairly straight. Where's the targa top?

I don't know who Euroclassiccars is, but the owner's name of this car is Thomas and he is about as picky as you are going to find. He will always under evaluate the condition of his cars. If the says it's a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10, it's an easy 8 or 9.

I haven't ridden or driven this one, but it is super looking in person.

I do not know if $69,000 for a #s matching is unreasonable given the recent sale of Phil's 73 non matching targa S for $63,000. I think the number is a fair asking.

Not a bad car by any means but not even close to being "one of the very best." Just a quick look at the photos reveals a host of items that would need to be corrected to put this car right.

I also think a lot more has been done to the car than stated in the eBay ad. And some of the work looks to be pretty shoddy, like the leather wrapped steering wheel.

Maybe the car market is better than I thought, maybe the dollar is truly in the sh**ter, but I don't see this car selling for anywhere near asking price.
