    Roger,

Yeti from Germany has offered several on here. I bought one from him a few years back for $1k with box. If yours is really nice with perfect finish on the braclet, probably more in the $1500 range, but that is just a guess.

Nice watch, I wear mine all the time - you should keep it.

I've found there to be a slight premium (couple hundred bucks) on the earliest watches that say 'ORFINA' above the day/date instead of featuring the 'PD' logo in the same spot.

Anyone know when the changeover occurred? Probably sometime in the mid-70's.

    Hey Roger,
They usually go around the 2 grand range. I have a couple of Heuer, before they became TagHeuer, black chrono's that are identical to the early PD's. I think they would be about the same ballpark.
    Cheers!

Bonham's has 49 watches from the Porsche family collection up for auction, 29 pages worth with estimates:

edit: Interesting that there is an Elysee watch in there (lot #150). Elysee's are generally a budget type mechanical watch (under $500) and made in Dusseldorf. I use one as my daily bang-around watch!

I bought an Orfina in pewter a few years back from Yeti, and really liked it...when it kept time. It stopped about a year after I bought it and I've not gotten around to having it checked/repaired.

Anyone know where I can take/send it for service?
    Cheers!

I've bought watches from them since 1980. Quite a place. Trust them.
