    Question price for Frankfurt radio on factory window sticker

    on this original invoice for a 68 912 softie, the price of the Frankfurt is $180 could this be right considering the total price of car is $5700
    other options like $8 for hubcaps make it seem high for a radio......

    Radios were huge money back then. It was a time when Blaupunkt was a "real" radio and everyone wanted one. If you dig further, you will see that some of the upgraded Blaupunkts cost more than that. Yes, it was a great deal of money back then.

    Price

    I have the original porsche factory invoice for steve mcqueen's 1970 911S it shows he was charged dm 525 which at the then exchange rate,it was was $190 for the frankfurt; how about the ac ;the car was $8300,ac was $485;that 5% of the cars cost
