    Looking for engine# 900334 for my 64

I know this is like finding a needle in a hay stack and a very slim chance of success, but I still want to give it a try:
When I recently purchased my 1964 with vin 300215 it came without the original motor which according to the COA was 900334.

Would that engine case still be around?????

If anyone could help me in this that would be great! Needless to say that if it would show up I would pay high $$ to get it.

    Thanks, Henk

Henk; this case might be available in Norway:

    Type 901/01
    Engine number 900279
    Build 179

Case is at a friend in Norway, in parts, not in the original car.

Hi John, thanks for the tip, appreciated.
With the car came in boxes an incomplete but usable 65 motor #902248 901/01 2148 which I could use if nothing better can be found.

Would you have more info on that case in Norway?
This case in Norway is earlier than the one suposed to be in my car, if I had a choice I think a later engine would make more sense than an earlier one?
    What would be best?

    Thanks, Henk

    Henk,

One close to what yours should be would make them most sense. However, nothing other than the original engine will really do the trick. So, it's a matter of "taste" I'd say.

I have 900326 currently being rebuilt

That's pretty close. I could be persuaded away from it perhaps.
