Hello, looking for info on price for 2.4 CIS system

    Hi Folks,
As per the directions offered in the classifieds, I am asking here for price info. I have a complete 2.4 CIS system less fuel pump and accumulator that I am looking to sell. I will take pics tomorrow as I know they help, but it is clean and came off of a running car about 5 years ago. I would appreciate any info ya'll could give me on a fair price
    Thanks

Don't really know but I got $300 for the same 2.4 setup three-four years ago.

Interesting. I see the more prolific 2.7 systems going for $300-400, I would have expected a more rare 2.4 to go for a little more (not a fortune, mind you). Someone just offered me $200 for it which I feel is kind of low. I tried searching archives, but many of the prices have been removed once the sale is done so that is of no help. Also, I have not found a nice set up that previously sold to base this set on. I didnt get to take pics today, but I will hopefully tomorrow once I have a transmission out of my way.
    Thanks for the response.

There are probably not a lot of 73.5 owner's out there looking for a complete system. Also, as I recall, many 73.5 parts are no longer available but have been superceeded by later components which are in general superior to the originals. My 73.5 for example had a 76 or 77 WUR on it which incorporated a function which had earlier been performed (badly) by a big piece of aluminum and rubber hanging off the back of the 73.5 airbox. Developments like this will reduce demand for original components for many who care less about originality than functionality. FWIW.
