SWB S bumper and rocker deco rubber

I was just poking around the Pelican site. I see that they list wide rocker deco rubber inserts for 65-68 (PEL-TMP-9387); wide S rubber strips for the front (PEL-TMP-9306) and rear (PEL-TMP-9454 bumpers.

Are the bumper rubber ends shaved and tapered properly or is this a do it yourself deal? Same with the rocker rubber inserts?

I'd appreciate hearing about anyone's experience with these products.

    Thanks!

The ones I received were terrible quality. Ends are shaved but the match where ends are glued stood proud 1/8" 'not blended flush. You can spot them as poor quality 10' away. Also be aware that 68 was shorter due to reflector and will be way short on 67 not a problem if you get the long rears for a 68 you can cut down, one size does not fit all. I believe 67 was the only year the wide LONG S rear deco was offered. I suppose you could fix them up but when I thought about it crap in crap out came to mind. Same thing with the aluminum deco repro's out there, not anodized, stick out like a sore thumb as well as needing tweeking and rubber does not fit well leaving gaps between rubber and deco.

I have no problem with the theory that all men are created equal.
But after that moment you are on your own and nobody owes you a damn thing.
