    tool queston, screwdrivers

    in this Ebay ad,
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PORSC...item3ca7927b73
the tool kit has both screwdrivers with "Klein" on handle.
seller states is correct for early T E S but arent the "10,000 volt" handle the correct ones?
interestingly, the seller has turbo tails for sale also and states that it "adds value to your car" however looks like he removes the toolkits from the cars he is also offering. I think he's got it mixed up as to what adds or de-values a car. Clearly the cars he finds have nice histories with books invoices and tools but to separate its bits in my opinion takes away from the car.

he has a green turbo tail and a white one, appears maybe to have been removed from the 2 early cars he is offering, so if it adds value ....why did they remove them

the white 73 MFI he calls it a 73 1/2, guess he's not up on early cars.

Risky answering tool kit questions on this board, but here is what I think is correct. Corrections welcome.

The Klein marked screwdrivers are 65-67. I think the 10,000V screwdrivers started in 68. I know they're correct for 69. The tool bag looks correct for 65-67 with gray interior and a linen finish. Better pictures would help.

I don't think the spark plug wrench is correct. It should taper from the end without a shoulder to a hexagonal shape that fits the hex handle. The later spark plug wrenches have a knurled wheel at the end where the handle plugs in and a shoulder near the 21mm end. Can't tell about the pliers or wrenches; not enough shown. Bent handle lug wrench is early, but the very early ones have a reduced diameter as well as the bend.

I've sat at the feet of masters (Soterik), but I may well have misunderstood the words of the master.

I'm with you. I think the tool kit should stay with the car. That's how it came from the factory. How can you improve on that? No one will ever know if a correct replacement is found later, but a little bit of magic is lost.

Weird eBay ad in that he has several of, basically, the same pictures are shown. We can't see all of the pliers or spark plug wrench. Depending on what those items look like, could be, looks-like a SWB kit.
