    Karmann bought by Volkswagen

You may have heard already that Karmann will be taken over by Volkswagen. The best news today is that car manufacturing is returning to Osnabrück. First they will start producing the new Golf Cabriolet from 2011. But the very best news is that they will build cars for Porsche again after a long time. From 2013/14 onwards they will build the Boxter and Cayman here.

Very good news. VW seems to be on a roll these days. Unlike Saab which just saw Koenigsegg back out of its deal with GM. Doesn't look good.
