Thumbs up ESSES Vol. 19, No 4

I just received a call from John Dilger that the domestic mailing of the our new ESSES went out Tuesday.

I've only seen comps of the finished issue, but what I've seen was even better then the last........

I'll be on my Thanksgiving vacation till next Monday where it will be waiting for me at home.........

As always please tell us what you think.....

Cheers and thanks for your support,

I read mine when it arrived on Wednesday. Great photos and stories. I was interested by the 910 replicas at EASY.

I got mine on Tuesday and promptly placed it near the throne. This an excellent publication and well worth thr price of admission. For an insanely cheap $35 membership, we also get a first class mag. What a bonus...

Another great issue! I'm sorry to see Bob stepping down as
artistic director though. I hope the high quality we've been lucky to
    enjoy continues.

My copy arrived this afternoon, and I'll second Alan's thoughts. Hopefully the style Bob has set will continue for some time.

I see also that it's time for me to renew my membership, so I'm off to do that.

    Thanks to all who contributed,

The four issues of 2009 shall have a permanent place in my library for as long as I follow events in the Early 911 world. Thank you very much, Robert. I feel the ESSES newsletter represents the face of the Registry to the outside world, and in your capable hands you moved the image of the club forward. When it's convenient, I'll bring my ESSES to one of our coffee clatches and ask you to sign one or all of them.

Thanks especially for your going-away present to us, Bob, the article on Gary Schultz's white '67S. I can't imagine a more perfect union of everything that makes early 911 S's so special than that particular car.

Good Luck, Tilton, I know we haven't heard the last from you.

    Esses

Bob Tilton's vision has been indelibly stamped on the magazine over the last few issues.

I know how much time and effort it takes to create something this personal and unique in vision - a refined yet adventurous design sense combined with a scrupulous commitment to detail. It doesn't just happen folks.

The look of Esses will undoubtedly change. You can't recreate a moment in time!

I'll treasure the copies that Bob has designed that's for sure. Best wishes to everyone involved!
