    Thumbs up Porsche PET Online

I'm probably the last person here to discover this, but in case others haven't found it yet - but Porsche's Parts Catalogs are HERE.

So fast and easy to use that there's no need for the PET CD anymore.

    Cheers,

That is not the dealership film? Missing all the pictures for the parts. This is like the clift notes of parts.

No pictures ??? You must have your Norton picture blocker turned on. There are thousands of pictures. This looks like the full PET to me.

I have four computers in various places. I like being able to access it in the cloud and not having to d/l it. Very fast and very convenient. I had no idea it was online. This is a digression, but...

It's all going to be cloud computing before too long. And what a great resource. When I started my first Internet company in 1994 (sold in 2000) we had to build a typical server based network and we had to build our own Intranet for company management. This time around we don't even need a file server - we just do everything in the cloud. The Intranet-type tools that we use are better than we had last time, and just plug and play.

    Cheers,

that's fine for all those unimportant things like business records, banking info etc. but for the REALLY important stuff like the PET, I like my own copy for when i'm not under a cloud.
