    '70S Spring Plate Finish

    OK...what finish is on a 1970 911S Spring Plate? Painted black or plated?

    1967 911 #307347, bare-bones, some road wear, a little surface rust, and a few dents..., owned 14 years.
    1970 914/6GT, (Sold - ran the last three Rennsports)owned 30 years.

    '70S Spring Plate Finish

    John for what it's worth I just tried the Eastwood chassis black and am pleased with the finish and semi gloss. In my opinion it looks very correct. It comes in aerosol or ready mixed to dump in your spray gun, which is what I used.
